Step 1: Open a Surfing Image from Computer
In our first
step open a surfing image from computer in Photoshop window. For this purpose go
to File -> Open from main menu or
press the command Ctrl + O. an open
window will expose, here choose the require picture through this window and do
click on Open button. I have selected
surfing image from my computer.
Step 2: Make Copy Layer of Background In Layer Panel
After
opening the picture in Photoshop window. Now make the copy layer of it in layer
panel. For this purpose press the command Ctrl
+ J, you will see one copy layer will be created in Layer Panel.
Here see the
below picture the copy layer1 can be seen in Layer Panel.
Step 3: Create New Solid Color Layer
In 3rd
step create a new solid color layer in Layer Panel. Basically we will use it
for the water drops purpose.
Do click on second
icon from right side in below of the layer panel. A Layer 2 will be created in
layer panel. Change the name of this layer as “Solid color”.
After that do
click on 4th or middle icon in below of the layer panel. A big list
will popup, here pick up the option Solid Color. A color picker dialog window
will open, here choose the white color #ffffff
and do click on Ok button.
After
selection of the color the white solid color layer will be seen in layer panel.
Let’s have a look in below picture having solid color layer.
Step 4: Add Noise on Solid Color Layer
After
creating new layer, now add noise on the layer. For this purpose go to Filter -> Noise -> Add Noise option
from main menu. Recently Add Noise small window will appear on the screen. In
this window set the values as Amount
400%, Distribution Gaussian, Monochromatic and do click on Ok button.
When you
will click on Ok button the solid color layer will be become noise full.
Step 5: Make Noise Gaussian Blur
The noise has been added on the solid color
layer. Now it’s time to make it blur, for this concern go to Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur
from top menu. A Gaussian blur window will expose. Here Adjust Radius 8.0 pixels and do click on Ok button.
Step 6: Make Adjustment of Threshold
This step is
important, by following this step we will make the shapes of water drops.
Let’s go to Image -> Adjustment -> Threshold from
top menu. A threshold window will open on the screen here adjust the level at 136. You will see the black color drops
will be appeared on the white sheet; just like below picture.
Step 7: Remove the White area by Magic Wand Tool
Select the
Magic Wand Tool from tool bar and do click on the white area in the sheet.
The
all-white area will have selected, now press the key Delete from your keyboard. Suddenly selected area will be removed,
only black dots will remain.
After
removal of the white area now make the selection inverse. So go to Select -> Inverse or press the
command Shift + Ctrl + I from
keyboard. Through this the selection will become inverse and black dots will be
nominated.
Step 8: Create Water Drop Effect from Layer Style
This step is
special because in this we will make water drops effect. Very interested and
artistic step so be attentive.
For water
drops go to Layer -> Layer Style
-> Blending Option. A Layer Style big window will open in front of you.
Here manage
the values of Bevel and Emboss as.
